Together we are strong!
What Familia Fortis does
Familia Fortis is a non-profit limited company founded by Alexander Wagner. Its mission is written into its articles: to help children and young people find their way into working life and society, through projects and activities. Behind it lies a clear conviction: young people are the most valuable thing a society has, and they need adults who strengthen and accompany them. Familia Fortis also stands up for a fair and diverse society.
Three ways to find strength
Unfolding strengths
Many young people carry a heavy load in everyday life and cannot see what they are capable of. Activities, excursions and exchange between young and old bring those abilities to light.
Meeting animals
Young people who have been let down by adults often find it easier to trust again through animals. And taking responsibility for a living creature helps them grow.
Experiencing nature
To counter the stress of everyday life, Familia Fortis offers hikes and group experiences outdoors. The focus is on how new life comes into being, on preserving cultural heritage and on meeting the unfamiliar with an open mind.
Why we support Familia Fortis
Every day we build software that makes work easier for others. What no software can do is show a young person that someone believes in them. That is exactly where Familia Fortis comes in. What convinces us is that children and young people are not talked about there; things are done together with them: outdoors, with animals, as a group. Anyone who discovers early what they are capable of will walk their own path with more confidence later on. That is why we support Familia Fortis and tell its story here, so that more people get to know this work.
