How questions are asked and answered here

Solved marker. Whoever asked the question marks the answer that helped as “solved”, visible to everyone who has the same question later.

Upvotes. You highlight helpful answers, regardless of when they were written.

Moderation. The team pins important topics and closes them when needed; you can report a post at any time.

Profile and direct messages

Your profile shows your avatar, display name, accent colour, signature, level and post count; it grows with every post. For conversations away from the topics there are direct messages, where you can block any person individually, and they can block you.
