What a skill is
A skill is a set of instructions that teaches Claude Code to handle a recurring task in a particular way: how a release runs, how a text is reviewed, which steps a bug report goes through. Instead of explaining what to do every time, you invoke the skill and the AI follows the defined procedure.
In the skills database, such instructions are available as simple Markdown files, together with prompts and complete workflows. Every entry can be read, rated and adopted for your own work.

Comments. You discuss experiences and adaptations right on the skill.
Ready to take away. Every entry can be downloaded as a Markdown file; you copy the skill itself from the code block into your own project.
